This is for Remembrance of Mrs Elinar Parker Widdow daughter of William Waller of Gro[oom]bridge Esqe. Wife to Tho Parker of Ratton Esq w’h whom she lived 53 yea’s. She survived 20 yea’s when in a quiet minde lifting her handes up to Heav’n say O Lord receave my soule. She died the 26 of Febr A DMI: 1598 & was her[e] interred with her beloved husband as she desired. She had 3 children: one daughter that died an infant & 2 sonnes, Nicholas & John now living both Knights. All her husband’s life she agreed with his dispositions to spende with great plenty & bountie in hospitalletee. She was wise, [t]emperae, mild & gentell. In behaviour very charitable, pios and devout. To conclude for goodness her life and death deserve perpetuall memory. She was 83 yeares of age.
