Inscription:

Mrs Marsden
of Hanover Terrace, Regents Park, London
Gave the sum of £120_3 per cent consol'd annuities,
and caused the same to be transferred
on the 12th of May 1842 to the Rev'd William Glaister,
Rector of Beckley, Elizabeth Glaister his wife,
and Henry Selmes Esq're in trust.
Vis: The interest to be applied annually for
the benefit of such poor people of the parish
of Beckley as the said trustee in
their discretion shall think proper.
N.B. The Rector of Beckley, for the time being,
is always to be considered as one of the trustees.
Mrs Marsden also caused a further sum of L100-3 per cent
consol'd annuities to be transferred on the 19th July 1844
to the above named trustees, the interest thereof to
be applied annually for the like purposes.
