IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I George Langridge of Fletching in the County of Sussex Wheelwright being of sound mind and memory (praised be Almighty God therefore) so make and ordain my last Will and Testament ___________ the disposition of the temporal estate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me in manner following (that is to say) FIRST I give and devise all that my freehold Messuage tenement Buildings and Lands with the appurtenances situate lying and being in the Parish of Horsted Keynes in the said County now in the tenure or occupation of my sons John Langridge and George Langridge or their assigns unto my oldest son George Langridge for and during the term of his natural life and from and immediately after his decease unto his son George Langridge his heirs and assigns forever ALSO I give and devise all that my copyhold messuage or tenement buildings and about two acres of land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being at the same wood common in the said Parish of Fletching and hold of the Manor of Sheffield and which I have previously surrendered to the use of my Will unto my daughter Sarah Bish the wife of John Bish of Horley in the County of Surry for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease unto her son John Bish his heirs and assigns forever ALSO I give and devise all that my Freehold messuage or tenement wherein I now dwell with the Wheelwrights shop garden orchard and appurtenances thereunto belonging and likewise all that my copyhold wheelwrights shop situate and being at Splainsgreen in Fletching with the appurtenances and which I have previously surrendered to the life of my Will unto my son Thomas Langridge and his heirs until his son Thomas my Grand-son shall Arrive to his age of twenty one years and if my said Grand-son lives to his said age of twenty one years then I give and devise the said last mentioned Messuage buildings and premises as well freehold as copyhold with their appurts unto my said Grand-son Thomas Langridge his heirs and assigns forever AND I give and bequeath unto my said son Thomas Langridge all and singular my wheelwrights working tools of all sorts and likewise all my stock of timber as well wrought as unwrought for the life of a wheelwright or so intended to be and to be delivered to him immediately after my decease ALSO I give and devise all that my freehold messuage or tenement buildings gardens and four acres of land _______ or loss with the appurtenances hereunto belonging situate to lying and being near Broadwater Pitt in Fletching aforesaid and now in the occupation of Richard Langridge a cleaver and myself or my assigns unto my daughter Ann the wife of Francis Parker for her life subject to the charge hereinafter mentioned and from and immediately after her decease unto her son George Parker his heirs and assigns forever CHARGED nevertheless all do hereby charge the said last mentioned freehold occupied near the said Broadwater Pitt with the payment of the sum of thirty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain unto my Grandson George Langridge Son of my late Son William Langridge deceased within the space of twelve calendar months next after my decease ALSO I give and bequeath to my Grand-daughter Mary Langridge daughter of my said Late Son William the sum of Ten Pounds of like lawful money and to my Grand-daughter Sarah Bish the sum of ten pounds of like lawful money to be respectively paid to my said two last named legatees out of my personal estate within the space of twelve calendar months next after my decease AND all the rest and residue of my goods chattels personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever (after any just debts legacies charged upon my persona l estate funeral expenses and the costs of provin g this my Will are satisfied) I give and bequeath unto my son John Langridge whom I constitute and appoint sole executor of this m y Will hereby revoking and declaring Will all void all forever Wills by me made in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty sixth day of February in the year o f our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty nine George Langridge (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the said Georg Langridge the Testator as and for the last Will and Testament and afterwards attested by us whose names are subscribed as witnesses in the presence of the said Testator for and of each other ANN EASTON WILLIAM ATTREE THOMAS DODSON
