SS. PETER AND PAUL. Restored in 1858. This fine church, with elegant spire, is mainly E.E., with some Dec. and Perp. windows. Note: old oak door (1682); font, early 15th c.; and two piscinæ. The large number of iron slabs (thirty), dating from 1614 to 1790, shows that iron was large worked in this district during those centuries. The S. porch (Perp.) has a chamber over it.
