And Thomas Bear, of No. 9, Richmond-terrace, Brighton, in the county of Sussex, Gentleman, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "the adaptation of mica or talc to water gauges, to steam and other boilers. " As set forth in his petition, recorded in the said office on the 14th day of February, 1872.
