Julius Roberts, of Seaford, in the county of Sussex, a Captain in Her Majesty's Royal Marine Artillery, has given notice at the Office of the Commissioners of his intention to proceed with his application for letters patent for the invention of "improvements in the construction of tramways, and in apparatus to be used in connection therewith. " As set forth in his petition, recorded in the said office on the 7th day of March, 1872.
