ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST. Restored in 1866-74. E.E. church with Perp. additions. The curious cover of the font (Perp.) is of remarkable form, with a door to reach into the font. The sedilia are E.E. In N. aisle is iron slab to one of the Bishop family; in chancel, mural tablet to Colonel Thomas Sackville, 1692.
