Built in 1899 St. Matthews has been recently reordered to provide a modern and welcoming worship environment for all.
The reordered church has soft seating, large carpeted areas, multi-channel sound system, computerised video projection system, a stage, efficient modern heating, good modern lighting and a refreshments area.
Alongside the church building is a large multi-purpose self contained hall with kitchen and toilets.
The grounds of the church and hall comprise of a walled gardens, grassed areas and a car park. A dramatic mural on the wall of the car park depicting Isaiah 11 has become a local landmark.
