This site is written in PHP and accesses a MySQL database.
It is best viewed on a monitor with at least 1024 x 768 resolution and with Javascript enabled in your browser.
The site has been tested in Google Chrome, Opera and Apple Safari (our favourites), Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer; all on Windows 7.

Instructions for searching the Sussex OPC places of worship database
Use the controls above to select the parish you wish to see.
Remember that this browser only shows churches in the OPC database. We have not loaded all churches known to us yet, however if you are aware of any we have missed, please let us know to hurry us along!
In the (optional) name field, you may use a '*' for a wildcard in the name to be searched for, e.g. 'Ba*' will return parishes starting with 'Ba', e.g. Balcome, Barcombe, Barlavington, Barnham, Battle etc.
